Addy’s Rainbow Fund Giveaway

Friends of mine just found out that their 7-yr-old daughter has Leukemia. She is currently at Children’s Hospital awaiting the beginning of a two year treatment plan. This strikes close to home for me on multiple levels. I have children close to Addy’s age, and I can’t even imagine either one of them having to go through something like this. It breaks my heart, and my thoughts and prayers are with this amazing family.

A fund has been created for Addy, to help ease the burden of her medical expenses. To help support Addy and her family, I’m giving away a signed set of the THOUGHTLESS trilogy and an advanced copy of THOUGHTFUL (when available). Alex’s Lemonade Stand Donation Totals – Over $2,000 Raised!!

I want to thank everyone who participated in the charity drive for Alex’s Lemonade Stand! Thanks to all of you, Dina Silver, Priya Kanaparti, Rebecca Donovan and I raised a grand total of $2,138.00!!

I’m humbled, awed and thrilled to be able to give this money over to ALS. Thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by this horrible disease. Hang in there!

You Read. We Donate!

Author Dina Silver and I are teaming up again to help fight cancer. Author Priya Kanaparti has decided to join us in our efforts, and the incredible Rebecca Donovan has agreed to match our donation total! This time, our charity of choice is Alex’s Lemonade Stand, a foundation dedicated to finding a cure for childhood cancer.
I have two energetic, playful, happy children. Every day I am grateful for the fact that they are healthy. I can’t imagine anything as horrific as cancer happening to my kids, nor do I want to! But not every parent is so lucky.
Please help us help Alex’s Lemonade Stand win the fight on childhood cancer…and all you have to do is read!

Three books. Three ways to support.
Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of cancer patient Alexandra “Alex” Scott (1996-2004). In 2000, 4-year-old Alex announced that she wanted to hold a lemonade stand to raise money to help find a cure for all children with cancer. Since Alex held that first stand, the Foundation bearing her name has evolved into a national fundraising movement, complete with thousands of supporters across the country carrying on her legacy of hope.
